Crafted in Japan from a mid-weight 11oz indigo sashiko fabric, originally developed for traditional firefighter uniforms during the Edo period, this textile has been refined for everyday comfort. Rope-dyed in indigo using the same process as premium denim, the sashiko fabric promises beautiful, personal fading over time.

Built for ease and versatility, the pants feature an adjustable drawstring waistband, zip fly, two-tack pleating, and functional pocketing throughout—including slant pockets at the front and welt pockets at the back. Resin buttons and cotton twill pocket bags complete the look.

Fit Notes: Despite being a Japanese brand, we find the sizing of Japan Blue pants to be more Western than Japanese. If you usually wear a size M in American pants, you'll find a suitable fit with this piece in size M. However, as always, we recommend consulting our size chart for the perfect fit.
