Crafted from high-quality Zimbabwe cotton, the 18oz Japanese selvedge denim is woven under low-tension on vintage shuttle looms, resulting in a richly textured fabric. These jeans feature Momotaro’s iconic “Going to Battle” stripes on the back pocket, but this time, in a sashiko fabric.

This pair also features a unique pink inseam representing the peach from the much beloved Momotaro folktale from which the brand derives its name. Premium details include custom engraved iron buttons, hidden copper rivets, chain-stitched hems and waistband, and a natural-dyed blue leather patch. The slim tapered modern silhouette offers a narrow leg, while the rich indigo hue evolves beautifully over time. Handcrafted in Japan, these jeans combine unique style, superior comfort, and unparalleled durability.

Fit Notes: These jeans have a standard sizing. We recommend choosing your usual size. However, as always, we recommend checking the size chart first to find your perfect size. The fabric is sanforized, so there will be no shrinkage. Some people might even go for a smaller size than usual, but only those with very thin legs. The waist will experience the typical stretching seen in sanforized denim. Expect approximately 0.5 to 1 inch of stretching.
