Oni’s Secret Denim is legendary among denim enthusiasts for its unparalleled texture, softness, and character. Now, this iconic fabric is available in a stunning double black version, combining the rugged charm of its indigo counterpart with the deep intensity of sulfur-dyed black.

First introduced in 2012, Secret Denim has been meticulously crafted by Oishi-San using an exclusive process that no one else can replicate. Extra-thick yarns made from three types of cotton are woven at ultra-low tension on vintage shuttle looms, resulting in an unsanforized 20oz fabric with incredible slub, roughness, and a uniquely hairy texture. For the black iteration, the warp and weft are sulfur-dyed to achieve a depth of color that’s as striking as it is versatile. This version may become a collector's piece, as the workshop responsible for ONI's sulfur dyeing will soon close its doors.

Designed in Oni’s 622 relaxed tapered fit, these jeans offer modern comfort with a slim silhouette. The cut provides extra room in the top block, tapering to a sleek, narrow leg opening. Premium details include black enamel-coated steel buttons, heavy-duty bar tacks, high-quality pocket bags, and a custom vegetable-tanned deerskin leather patch.

Fit Notes: These jeans have standard sizing. We recommend choosing your usual size. However, as always, we suggest checking the size chart first to find your perfect fit. They are unsanforized but one-washed, so there will be no shrinkage. Please keep in mind that, due to the low tension, the 'Secret Denim' fabric will stretch by 1 to 2 inches. If they feel tight at first, don't worry—after just a few uses, you'll achieve the perfect fit.
