This Tanuki Type III jacket is crafted from the brand’s 15oz Indigo x Indigo selvedge denim, a richly textured fabric with both warp and weft rope-dyed in deep indigo for striking tonal depth and bold fades. Woven with a low-tension technique, this denim offers excellent breathability, a soft hand feel, and fast, high-contrast aging thanks to its irregular slubby and neppy surface.

The cut pays tribute to the iconic Type III trucker jacket, known for its sharp lines and modern silhouette. Tanuki subtly refines the classic fit with a slim cut and extended body length, enhancing wearability and proportions. This extra length also allows for the addition of discreet hand-warmer pockets at the hips, adding modern function to a timeless design.
